Job description
As a System/Cloud engineer you are focused on continuously improving all aspects of the infrastructure environment by using your analytical and technical skills. Together with the team you are responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Exact IT infrastructure. You do this by maximizing the uptime and performance of our infrastructure services delivered to our internal clients across the globe. Furthermore, in this role you will:
- Be responsible for the engineering, design, innovation and management on IT environment (servers, centralized enterprise storage solutions, VMWare, Databases, network, Cloud solutions and disaster recovery, automation environment and monitoring);
- Execute day to day operations including configuration settings, changes, troubleshooting, reporting, monitoring and alerting;
- Automatically update servers on patching an security;
- Work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors and suppliers;
- Create procedure and supportive documentation.

Then we have a great opportunity for you, so keep on reading!, A match is made when you are that candidate with a bachelor degree in Information Technology and at least 5-8 years of relevant experience within an international environment. To ensure we have an awesome match, you:
- Have knowledge and experience of Microsoft technology (Active Directory, Windows server 2016, SCCM, SCOM, Active Directory, GPO and Office 365);
- Have experience with solutions based on the leading (hybrid) cloud with AWS and Azure
- Have experience with Terraform and Ansible;
- Have affinity and knowledge of VMware ESXi (vCenter, ESXi, vRealize Automation & Operations Manager and VMware cloud solutions);
- Building scripts with powershell, automating workflows, creating modules, and performing bulk operations across Microsoft services;
- strong knowledge of AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, File Services, Failover Clustering, and server performance tunin;
- Understanding firewalls (Fortinet), routing, VPN technologies, load balancing, VLANs, and hybrid cloud networking;
- Working with Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, SIEM/SOAR tools, MFA, Conditional Access, and security baselines;
- Managing Azure AD Connect, AWS Direct connect, federation services, SSO, identity lifecycle, and hybrid authentication issues;
- Know what it takes to support and improve highly available infrastructures;
- Have affinity with MacOs, Linux, Container and Docker solutions.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Are analytical, pro-active and think out of the box while providing insights on how to continuously improve the environments;
- Have strong presentation skills, good interpersonal communications skills and a positive attitude;
- English proficiency is a must, Dutch proficiency is a 'plus'
