Job description
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network functionality and reliability.
- Manage network security, including implementing and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and inventory records.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery operations, and ensure network redundancy and business continuity.
- Plan and implement network upgrades and expansions according to organizational needs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving network-related issues promptly.
- Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and other IT staff to resolve technical problems and coordinate projects.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with organizational IT policies and industry regulations related to network security and privacy.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a network administrator, network engineer, or similar IT role.
- Network Administration, Firewall, Wireless, Switching & Routing Cisco, AWS Networking, Cloud Networks - Cisco Meraki, Load balancing
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and network hardware.
- Experience with network security practices, including Firewall management and VPN configuration.
- Familiarity with cloud networking, virtualization technologies, and remote access solutions is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (eg, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate) are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
