Senior Manager - Insurance Finance AI and Data, Finance Strategy, Finance Transformation, Technology & Transformation

As an Insurance Senior Manager in our Finance Strategy practice, you will have the opportunity to deliver in the following areas:

• Lead Transformative Projects: Direct and deliver impactful Insurance transformation projects for our global clients, guiding teams to exceptional results while providing expert finance advice.
• Cultivate Key Client Relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming their trusted advisor on all matters related to Insurance finance.
• Drive Business Growth: Play a pivotal role in expanding our insurance practice through thought leadership, knowledge sharing, team development, and identifying new market opportunities.
• Collaborate across the market: Partner with leading technology providers to develop and deliver tailored solutions for our clients.
• Champion Innovation: Maintain a keen understanding of market trends and develop innovative Insurance finance solutions, establishing Deloitte as a thought leader.
• Foster Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior leadership and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing within the Insurance practice.

• Significant experience within a consulting environment or finance transformation practice within an insurance organisation.
• Significant experience in the deployment of artificial intelligence tools to streamline and automate finance processes.
• Experience in creating finance tech, data and AI transformation business cases and implementing roadmaps
• Broad understanding of various AI vendors, LLMs ecosystem and their inter-play with ERP/EPM applications to develop specialised solutions for finance
• Strong understanding of data governance, architecture and model for finance and actuarial to support design and implementation of data platforms, analytics and AI solutions
• Strong understanding of how finance functions need to adapt their operating models and talent agendas to support AI-enabled finance functions.
• Broad knowledge of the Finance function and Finance operating models.
• Proven experience across General Insurance, Life & Pensions, Insurance Brokers and/or London Markets.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate complex ideas and effectively manage key stakeholders.
• Proven ability to support leadership in the structuring and delivery of projects.
• Proven ability to support junior team members in person and remotely.
• Strong people management and development skills with a strong focus on team development.

Desirable

• Qualified ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA accountant.
