Are you a firmware engineer with around 2-3 years' experience… or someone who spends their evenings building, coding or experimenting just because you love it with a lot of firmware knowledge?
You might not have considered a career in defence before. Most people haven't.
But if you enjoy solving complex problems, working close to hardware, and seeing your work applied in real-world, high-impact systems this could be a really exciting next step., Have ~2-3 years' experience in firmware, embedded systems or FPGA Or have strong hands-on experience through personal projects or hobbies Enjoy working close to hardware and solving real-world engineering problems Are curious, motivated and keen to keep learning.
Experience could include:
VHDL / Verilog / FPGA development Embedded C / C++ Microcontrollers, hardware interfaces, or digital design Personal builds, home labs, or side projects Why this is different
A lot of engineers don't realise that their skills are highly transferable into defence.

This role will require UK security clearance. If you meet the eligibility criteria, we will support you through the process.
