As a Characterisation Technician you will help drive our goals by:
Principal accountabilities
- Preparing specimens and samples.
- Perform testing on innovative materials using modern testing techniques
- Recording and sometimes interpreting results to present to senior colleagues including summarized test data and procedures.
- Prepares and maintains proper testing documentation.
- Participate and contribute to problem-solving projects.

Requirements
- Proven experience working with some of the following techniques or equivalent; Gas sorption, Thermal and mechanical testing, optical microscopy, electronic microscopy
- Computer literate MS Package and equipment software
- Previous laboratory experience.
- Working knowledge of testing techniques.
- A degree or relevant experience in Chemistry/Materials science/technology/Physics.
- An awareness of best laboratory practices according to ISO/IEC 17025 quality standard (desirable).
