Senior Solution Architect, Cloud & Infrastructure

• Design and evolve hybrid and cloud infrastructure architectures aligned to business and regulatory requirements
• Lead implementation of infrastructure platforms (primarily Azure, virtualisation and enterprise networking)
• Ensure architecture quality, security, resilience and consistency across global environments
• Champion Everything-as-Code practices across build and run
• Work closely with DevOps, Security and Operations teams to support delivery and BAU
• Own architectural standards, patterns and guardrails
• Optimise cost, performance and vendor relationships
• Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies where they add real value

• 5+ years designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid architectures
• Strong expertise in Azure IaaS & PaaS
• Deep understanding of networking, security, storage and DR
• Proven use of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, YAML, testing and automation
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices, serverless and modern platform architectures
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Desirable:

• Architecture/diagrams as code (C4, Structurizr, Mermaid, PlantUML)
• Secure-by-design and threat modelling experience
• Zero Trust/ZTNA exposure
• Comfort working alongside Enterprise Architects and formal notations
