Job description
We have a vacancy for a Programme Co-ordinator, this is a new role working with the Newhaven Enterprise Zone, assisting the delivery of a new two-year business plan, Newhaven Forward.
The role will be responsible for providing the Newhaven EZ Executive Office with efficient programme-led administrative support and assist with the coordination of activities related to delivery of the funded programmes, programme objectives and associated NEZ events.
Requirements
It is essential that you have a can-do attitude, with excellent communication and organisational skills and an aptitude for problem solving. You will possess experience of working in an administrative role, preferably within a financial setting, and have a demonstrable track record in meeting deadlines.
You will be required to work with Microsoft office and local authority IT systems. Experience of working within the public sector and partnership settings would be desirable, as would working as part of a remote team.
This position is based in Newhaven. The preferred working pattern for this post is hybrid, working at least one day a week in Newhaven but mostly home working.
