Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Neuroimaging Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing complex neuroimaging datasets, developing insightful visualisations, and supporting research projects through advanced data management and analysis techniques. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge neuroscience research whilst utilising a broad range of technical skills in data analysis, project management, and database design., * Analyse neuroimaging datasets using specialised software and programming languages such as R and Python.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations employing Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings effectively.
- Manage project workflows following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure timely delivery of analytical solutions.
- Design, implement, and optimise databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Conduct business analysis to understand research requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support neuroimaging research projects, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Create detailed documentation of data processes using Visio and VBA scripting for automation purposes.
- Utilise Bash (Unix shell) scripting for data processing tasks in a Linux environment.
- Assist in database design optimisation to improve data accessibility and security.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Visio?, * Proven experience in data analysis with strong proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and VBA.
- Familiarity with neuroimaging data formats and analysis tools is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of database management systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and Visio for visualisation and documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and project management principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A degree in Data Science, Neuroscience, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
