Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Architect (FS Industry) Location: London (mainly remote with travel to client sites in UK&I as required) Salary/Rate: £680 - 850 per day inside IR35 Start Date: End of April Job Type: Initial 6 month contract

Company Introduction We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Senior ServiceNow Architect to join their team in a Tier 1 Bank.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives The Platform Architect is a trusted advisor for enterprise platform strategy and governance. You define platform standards and guide technical decisions to ensure ServiceNow remains scalable and aligned to customer goals. Your purpose is to establish governance models, anticipate risks, and enable sustainable growth-engaging across CxO, enterprise architects, and platform teams to influence decisions and ensure consistency across the program.

• Define and maintain platform vision and strategy aligned to enterprise IT and business objectives.
• Provide architectural guidance to ensure designs align with platform standards and leading practices.
• Shape governance frameworks covering instance strategy, integrations, and data models.
• Facilitate platform governance forums to drive consistent decisions across partners and teams.
• Anticipate and mitigate platform risks (scalability, performance, technical debt).
• Influence adoption of leading practices across customer, partner, and ServiceNow teams.
• Provide structured feedback to ServiceNow product and engineering teams.

• ServiceNow Embedded as a strategic enterprise platform with clear governance models in place.
• Platform standards consistently applied across all delivery teams.
• Technical risks reduced and scalability maintained.
• Recognised as a trusted advisor on platform strategy and governance.

Required Skills/Experience The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience in leveraging or critically assessing how to integrate AI into work processes, decision making, or problem solving (eg, AI powered tools, automation, insights).
• ServiceNow, enterprise architecture, solution strategy, and program leadership experience.
• Proven experience engaging at senior levels to influence platform direction and business outcomes.
• Track record defining multi workflow, enterprise scale architectures and governance models.
• Ability to operate as a program level architect, guiding multiple teams and partners toward a unified vision.
• Expertise in platform strategy, integration patterns, and complex delivery governance.
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) plus other architecture/governance certifications highly desirable.
