Job description

Join a multidisciplinary, international team to analyze, define, and develop railway signalling system architecture and functions. Your role is to ensure the system meets input needs, technical requirements, and safety standards while supporting design optimization and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities Analyze, clarify, and confirm input requirements and needs Perform conceptual design using system models, design studies, real-time analysis, mock-ups Solve interfaces and maintain formal system specifications Ensure traceability from requirements to system documentation Collaborate with RAM, safety, sub-system, cybersecurity, software, product, and V&V teams Participate in technical reviews and interact with other System Engineers and domain experts Monitor technological evolution and contribute to continuous improvement Ensure standardization and reuse of solutions, providing system deployment kits

Profile / Requirements

Requirements

Engineering degree (BAC +4/+5) in Electronics, Telecom, Automation, Electricity, Robotics, or similar field

Experience & Skills Basics: Clear, rigorous, concise writing in English Basic programming skills

Assets: Experience in modelling methods: UML, SADT, SysML, Matlab Specification writing and requirement traceability Background in safety systems (automotive, aeronautics, railways) Interest in system design or system engineering Knowledge of railway signalling and communication protocols

Methodologies & Tools: Notions of V-cycle/Waterfall and Agile development models

Languages: Good command of French and English (mandatory)
