Job description

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe System Analyst to join a dynamic team within the insurance sector, focusing on Property & Casualty (P&C) retail activities., As a Mainframe System Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and evolving core systems in a mainframe environment. You will act as a key link between business and IT teams to ensure the reliability and performance of applications., * Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions

Maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications
Perform impact analysis and support change management activities
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to deliver solutions
Participate in testing phases (integration testing, UAT) and ensure quality delivery
Handle incidents and propose sustainable solutions
Maintain up-to-date documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes

Requirements

5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role within a mainframe environment
Strong knowledge of P&C retail insurance processes
Experience with mainframe technologies (COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, etc.)
Good understanding of functional and technical analysis
Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
