Based in Mons you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO's Digital Endeavour. You will join the NATO Infrastructure Services Centre (NISC), which is accountable for planning and executing the full lifecycle management activities (design, transition and operations) for the identified area of responsibility. NISC provides generic, domain independent, technical functionality that enables and facilitates the operation and use of Information Technology resources. We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Senior DevSecOps Solution Engineer who will design and deliver cutting-edge infrastructure and platform solutions supporting critical NATO operations. As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will act as a technical expert, translating complex business and capability needs into secure, scalable, and innovative solutions., Lead end-to-end solution design, from architecture through implementation, testing, and deployment Define and manage technical requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security policies Drive systems development and integration across infrastructure, network, and platform environments Design and validate network architectures to meet performance, resilience, and security requirements Provide technical leadership in DevOps environments (CI/CD, automation, monitoring) Support procurement, supplier evaluation, and contract performance management Act as technical lead for NISC/DCIS projects and support NATO exercises and operations Mentor junior engineers and contribute to incident/problem resolution as senior technical authority For a full list of duties, please review the on the NCIA career site.
Requirements
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in a relevant discipline with at least 3 years of role-related experience OR no degree with a minimum of 10 years of progressive and relevant professional experience Minimum 3 years' recent experience in large enterprise environments delivering: Infrastructure & platform services (IaaS / PaaS) Directory services, Identity & Access Management (multi-domain Active Directory environments) Enterprise Service Management concepts, tools and processes Engineering, integration and support of ICT components Proven experience in several of the following areas: Requirements elicitation and management Interoperability and internetworking concepts DevOps, automation and orchestration Systems engineering, development, testing and integration in enterprise environments Planning and organising CIS resources ITIL-based service management, including Service Transition Certifications / Training Formal ITIL Certification COTS products (Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMWare VCP, Cisco CCDA, CCNA

SUMMARY
The Executive Management (EM) Division has the lead role in the overall management of the NATO HQ. The EM Division covers the following directorates: HQ Support and Transformation (HQST), Human Resources (HR) and Information, Communications, and Technology Management (ICTM).
Within the Executive Management Division (EM), NATO’s International Staff (IS) Human Resources (HR) Directorate is comprised of five pillars: Talent Management and HR Integration (talent acquisition, talent development, organisational design, development and change management, and business partnership); HR Policy and Strategy Coordination (IS and NATO-wide HR Policy); Staff Services (contracts, pay and allowances, pensions, insurances, records and leave, and privileges and immunities), the Data Analytics section; and the Medical Unit.
The NATO-Wide Personnel Management Information System (NW-PMIS) provides personnel management ICT support for NATO civilian staff and pensioners. It is an in-house developed Oracle application used by HR centres of around 20 NATO Bodies spread across NATO member countries for the primary purpose of salary and pension calculation.
The post incumbent supports the payroll aspects of this system from an Information Technology standpoint. Tasks will involve analysis, design, development and maintenance of the software used by the NW-PMIS application
