This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state
- Deep systems engineering experience, working with hardware, software, networking, operating systems
- Proficient scripting processes in a language such as Bash, Python, or Ruby
- Deep expertise in Linux and networking with proven ability to conduct advanced system diagnostics, implement preventive measures, and resolve complex technical issues that impact system performance, reliability, scalability, and high availability across distributed software environments. Demonstrated success in root cause analysis, performance optimization, and implementing robust monitoring solutions to ensure seamless operation of mission-critical systems.
- Proficient leading the creation, revision, and/or improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs) and driving operational best practices., Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that align multiple teams and stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience mentoring and developing teams and engineers.
- Experience operating 24x7 high-availability, distributed software applications and performance tuning software applications and optimizing fleet utilization.
- Experience supporting service in AWS or other cloud systems or services.
- Proficient with Infrastructure as Code, (such as CDK, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or similar).

- Amazon will provide relocation support for successful applicants relocating within the European Union.
