Job description

Business Insights & Strategic Advisory · Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance) to deliver actionable insights that inform business strategy and execution. · Translate complex data into compelling narratives to support leadership decision-making. Integrated Data Analysis · Leverage internal and external data sources (e.g., CRM, ERP, market intelligence platforms) to generate insights on customer behavior, product performance, and market trends. · Conduct primary and secondary research to support strategic initiatives and product development. Forecasting & Planning · Develop and maintain forecasting models to support annual planning, revenue projections, and scenario analysis. · Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams to ensure alignment on business forecasts and KPIs.

Data Governance & Management · Oversee the acquisition, transformation, and quality assurance of data sources used for reporting and analytics. · Evaluate data methodologies and communicate limitations, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.

Dashboarding & Reporting · Design and maintain interactive dashboards to monitor business performance and operational metrics. · Ensure timely and accurate reporting across business units, enabling proactive decision-making.

Requirements

As a Data and Insights Manager at Sage, you will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making across our business units. You will be responsible for generating strategic insights, building robust forecasting models, and driving performance analytics to support our software solutions portfolio for SMEs and enterprise clients. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a dynamic, matrixed environment., · Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred). · 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or strategic insights, ideally within the software or technology sector. · Proven experience in advising senior leaders and driving cross-functional initiatives. · Advanced in data platforms and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Salesforce, Snowflake). · Advanced Excel skills, including dynamic dashboards, Power Query, pivot tables, and complex formulas for financial modelling and scenario analysis. · Experience in Power BI, including the use of semantic models, DAX calculations, and data modelling to create scalable and reusable analytics solutions. · Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and commercial planning. · Experience working in global, matrixed organizations. · Fluent English
