Job description

As part of our continued growth, NCC Group is seeking an experienced and proactive Data and Reporting Analyst to join the GMS (Global Managed Services) Deal Governance Hub. This role supports in the delivery of high-quality sales reporting, business insights, supporting initiatives, and process adherence tracking across our GMS business. The purpose of this role is to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and strategic value of sales and business performance data. The Data and Reporting Analyst will play a key role in enabling data-informed decision-making and will be expected to challenge assumptions, identify anomalies, and propose improvements where needed., * Preparing and maintaining regular reports and dashboards that track sales performance, pipeline health, renewals and process adherence.

  • Using Excel to manipulate, analyse, and visualise data.
  • Supporting the development of scalable reporting templates and automation of manual processes.
  • Collaborating with the GMS Governance hub to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensuring data quality and consistency across systems and reports.
  • Responding to ad hoc data requests and supporting internal stakeholders with insights and reporting needs.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the business, including with Sales, Solution Architects, and Portfolio teams, to ensure data insights are relevant, actionable, and aligned with strategic priorities., * Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful reporting to support sales forecasting, performance tracking, and governance.
  • Support deals with financial modelling and financial deals to assure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Maintain and enhance dashboards and Excel-based tools used by the Governance Hub, ensuring they remain scalable and user-friendly.
  • Monitor adherence to GMS sales processes, flag inconsistencies, and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, data workflows, and automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the GMS governance hub to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Support the preparation of materials for internal reviews, leadership updates, and strategic planning.
  • Ensure data integrity by validating inputs, documenting logic, and challenging unclear or inconsistent data.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with data in a business or sales operations environment, with a strong grasp of reporting tools and data workflows.
  • A natural curiosity and analytical mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions.Demonstrated ability to think creatively and challenge assumptions to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and impact.
  • Solid experience with Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, charts); interest in becoming a power user and exploring automation opportunities.
  • Comfortable using PowerPoint and Word to present findings clearly and professionally to a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Confident engaging with colleagues at all levels to clarify data, question inconsistencies, and advocate for improvements-while maintaining a collaborative and supportive approach.
