Requirements
Knowledge in SEND and having previous experience and working in special educational needs schools is highly desirable.
The role involves providing on-site technical support and advice to our clients at multiple sites, so being willing to travel to client sites is essential.
Advising clients on the potential for school infrastructure project work based on our SLA in Schools
We currently support schools in the following boroughs: Greenwich, Southwark, Wandsworth, Lambeth, Croydon, Lewisham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Brent and parts of Essex.
Desirable Skills:
1yrs+ 1st/2nd Line IT support experience and have the ability to work diversely
SEND support experience in an educational setting
Experience working in the Educational Sector
Strong customer service skills
Strong desktop support skills
Well-mannered and presentable
Experience in Office 365, including Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint
Office 365 Migration and working experience
Any experience or knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Experience in Microsoft Entra (Intune)
Google Workspace for Education
Wireless Networking (Wi-Fi, WLAN) and configuration of Wi-Fi networks
Windows Server 2016, 2019,2022, 2025 Active Directory and Group Policy experience desirable
Windows 10, Windows 11 Desktop support experience
Mobile Device Management (MDM) - iPads, Google Chromebooks, Windows devices
Apple device management experience is desirable
Workstation deployment - WDS, MDT, or any other deployment experience in a large network
Networking knowledge - switching, domain environment, complex troubleshooting
Experience working with Server Infrastructure Hyper-V, VMware
Strong team player
Successful candidates must pass an Enhanced DBS check and be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Essential Skills:
Office 365 administration experience, migration (optional)
Google Workspace admin experience
Active Directory, Group Policy (desirable)
Knowledge of SEND IT hardware or software across the SEND spectrum
