• Collaborate with sales teams to architect comprehensive cloud database solutions tailored to diverse customer requirements
• Engage as a strategic technical adviser, translating complex database concepts into actionable modernisation strategies
• Design reference architectures and best practice frameworks that demonstrate innovative approaches to database management

Technical Leadership & Thought Leadership

• Develop content showcasing expertise in cloud databases, data platforms, and analytics technologies
• Create technical guidance that accelerates customer adoption of modern database architectures
• Partner with global database specialists to refine and evolve customer solution strategies

Database Modernisation & Innovation

• Lead customers through database migration and modernisation journeys, from legacy systems to cloud-native platforms
• Design scalable database architectures leveraging managed services, serverless technologies, and modern data patterns
• Champion best practices in database performance optimisation, security, and operational excellence

Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries

• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
• Experience with one or more analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Knowledge of cloud architecture
• Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
• Experience with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems
