Software Engineer

• Working effectively with product managers, other engineers and business stakeholders on the project
• Assisting with technical ideas and projects that focus on solving real world business challenges

You are highly self motivated and can work independently or partner closely with other engineers on a project. You have proven experience on commercial software engineering team projects. You are excited about building high quality products and want to own the product development lifecycle starting with the right design and development principles. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You enjoy solving problems and like to challenge yourself by building scalable and highly performant solutions., You are a talented engineer with experience spanning some of the below requirements

• Software engineer with 3+ years of experience
• Experience developing web applications using an object orientated language like Ruby, being familiar with Ruby on Rails, Javascript, HTML and CSS
• Experience working with Single Page Applications and Javascript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js or (preferably) Ember.js
• Desirable: A knowledge of working with RESTful APIs
• Desirable: Experience integrating with internal and third party services
• Desirable: A knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Heroku, Azure
• Desirable: Knowledge of data migration and ETL practices
