Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst in the Optimisation and Measurement team, you'll use data and experimentation to help drive better customer and commercial decisions. In this role, you will be:

• Partnering with senior analysts and stakeholders across Retention, CRM, Propositions and Strategy to develop a strong understanding of business questions and translate them into robust analytical approaches
• Delivering in-depth analysis of experimentation and test & learn activity , identifying key drivers of performance and clearly communicating insights, learnings and recommendations to non-technical audiences
• Supporting the day-to-day measurement of customer targeting and communications , helping to shape future testing plans and optimisation opportunities based on evidence
• Producing high-quality analytical outputs including datasets, dashboards, and presentations that are trusted, well-documented and decision-ready
• Working closely with data science and engineering partners to explore opportunities to apply advanced analytics or predictive capability within new or existing customer journeys
• Championing best practice in experimentation, measurement and data quality , contributing to consistent and rigorous analysis across the team

• Working experience in SQL (BigQuery being a plus) and data visualisation tools such as Tableau is a must
• Experience in data manipulation and getting this into dashboards to present to the stakeholders
• A technical and analytical mind with a background in statistics and experimentation
• Self-starter who's constantly curious about what numbers are telling us and how they can be actioned to improve the experience of our members
• Aptitude for problem solving and multitasking
• Integrity: Willingness to speak your mind on difficult issues, whilst at the same time being humble and able to ask for help
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable record in fast paced and quick changing environment
