Job description

We are looking to recruit a Senior Database Engineer on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Database Engineering Manager, this is a key role within the Cloud function.

This is a highly technical role and you will be responsible for the operational excellence and delivery of on-premise and in cloud database services. You will play a key role in the end to end delivery of complex database solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Senior Database Engineer. Knowledge of SQL Server or MySQL is desired along with experience of working on-premises and with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure. Experience working as a Senior/ Lead Database Engineer. A proven track record of working with SQL Server or MySQL and willingness to cross train to cover both. Knowledge of working with Cloud Platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure. Linux knowledge would be advantageous.
