Delivery Lead - Global Integrated Centre of Excellence (ICOE) Location: Global / Virtual Talent Community: Solutioning & Delivery Role Family: Delivery Management Level: Senior Manager / Director (based on experience), As a Delivery Lead in Avanade's Global Integrated Center of Excellence (ICOE), you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of complex, multi-tower transformation programs powered by ERP modernization and next-generation AI capabilities.
In this role, you will anchor Avanade's delivery standards within major client programmes, collaborating directly with global subject matter experts and solution architects to strengthen our capacity to deliver with confidence across regions and industries. By combining delivery excellence with AI-augmented ways of working, you will ensure our clients benefit from the full breadth of Avanade's intelligence-driven delivery frameworks, assets, and accelerators.
This role leads ERP-driven business transformation worldwide, combining delivery leadership, ERP expertise, and AI innovation., Delivery Leadership & Governance
· Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-tower ERP transformation programs (e.g., Dynamics 365 F&SCM / CE; migration; multi-phase rollouts) -often integrated with AI-powered modernization, process intelligence, and predictive insights.
· Champion Avanade's Method One and global delivery standards while incorporating AI-enhanced delivery accelerators and automation tools to improve quality, velocity, and predictability.
· Serve as contract delivery lead for large-scale engagements, ensuring scope, quality, performance, and contractual commitments are met consistently.
· Govern risk, quality, and issue management using both traditional and AI-assisted delivery insights and dashboards.
Client Engagement
· Act as the primary delivery partner for client stakeholders, advising on both ERP transformation and AI-driven opportunities that enhance speed, intelligence, and business value.
· Translate client objectives into actionable implementation strategies-combining ERP, cloud, data, and AI capabilities into cohesive, outcome-based delivery plans.
· Influence and guide client executives on leveraging AI to modernise operations, enable new business scenarios, and strengthen long-term transformation outcomes by identifying and surfacing opportunities for optimisation, extension, and innovation within active engagements.
Program & Portfolio Oversight
· Lead large multidisciplinary teams (onshore/offshore), fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Oversee programme planning, estimation, mobilisation, financial governance, performance tracking, and steering communication across all workstreams within global engagements.
· Ensure transparent reporting, steering governance, and executive communication across Avanade and client stakeholders.
· Drive continuous improvement by embedding AI insights, predictive resourcing, and delivery analytics.
Solution Quality & Innovation
· Review solution architecture and delivery approach, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
· Support proposal shaping, solution assurance, and delivery readiness for new opportunities.
· Contribute to global best practices for ERP delivery, working closely with the ICOE leadership, Delivery Leads community, and SMEs
· Contribute to ICOE-led global best practices, shaping delivery guidelines and playbooks that embed AI capabilities into ERP and cross-platform delivery.
Requirements
Technical & Delivery Expertise
· Proven experience delivering large, complex ERP programs (ideally Dynamics 365 F&O / AX) with a strong understanding of delivery methodologies and cloud transformation.
· Demonstrated ability to orchestrate global delivery across distributed teams and multi-vendor environments.
· Proven experience in utilising Azure DevOps for programme delivery and collaboration.
· Ideally, experience in delivering programs incorporating AI-enabled components, such as:
o Intelligent automation
o Predictive analytics
o Copilots or embedded AI features in D365
Leadership & Consulting Skills
· Executive-level presence and the ability to influence without direct authority across global, multi-vendor teams.
· Comfortable guiding clients on how AI can enhance business processes, user experience, and transformation value.
· Expertise in program governance, risk mitigation, financial control, and commercial awareness.
· Ability to lead and mentor diverse delivery teams, fostering performance and professional growth.

Preferred AI Skills & Knowledge
These are not mandatory but significantly strengthen a candidate's profile.
· Understanding of Microsoft AI ecosystem (Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, fabric-based analytics, generative AI patterns).
· Prior exposure to AI governance, responsible AI principles, or adoption frameworks.
· Experience integrating AI into ERP processes (forecasting, operations optimization, anomaly detection, intelligent workflows).
· Familiarity with using AI tools to streamline delivery: automated documentation, intelligent QA, AI-driven estimation, or delivery dashboards., · 10+ years of delivery leadership experience in consulting or systems integration.
· Strong ERP transformation background; AI project experience is highly desirable.
· Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, Prosci, or AI-related certifications are a plus.
