We are seeking a skilled AWS API Integration Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing seamless API integrations within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. The ideal applicant will possess strong technical expertise in AWS services, API management, and integration strategies, ensuring efficient and secure data exchange across various platforms., * Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective AWS API integration solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy APIs using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and project managers to ensure smooth integration workflows.
- Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues promptly to maintain system reliability and security.
- Document integration processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS features and industry trends to recommend optimisations and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with organisational security policies and data protection standards during all integration activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and implementing API integrations within AWS cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML data formats, OAuth 2.0, and other authentication protocols.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer are preferred but not essential.
