Job description
We are looking for a driven and forward-thinking 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join our growing IT team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality technical support that underpins teaching, learning, and day-to-day operations. You'll work in a modern, cloud-first environment using tools like Microsoft 365 and Intune, while also supporting on-premise infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, embraces change, and wants to be involved in meaningful IT projects that make a real impact in an educational setting. What You'll Be Doing:
- Act as escalation point for 1st line, resolving complex issues
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Intune (devices, policies, deployments)
- Support and maintain core IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud)
- Administer users and security via Active Directory & Azure AD
- Monitor systems and proactively resolve issues
Requirements
- 2nd line technical knowledge with excellent Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Understanding the support of Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop technologies
- Experience working within an education environment is desirable
- Computer based degree /MCSE or equivalent in computer engineering or relevant field is desirable
- Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
