Job description
The Infrastructure and Project Finance team, based in London, is responsible for investing in project finance and infrastructure private placement assets across EMEA. The team manages approximately $15 billion of project finance and infrastructure debt on behalf of MetLife Investment Management's affiliated and unaffiliated clients.
The team sits within the Private Fixed Income business and reports to the Head of Infrastructure Debt EMEA, who in turn reports to the SVP, Global Head of Private Credit, and the CIO of MIML, all based in London.
Key team objectives include:
- Origination of project finance and infrastructure private placements
- Managing and minimising credit losses within the existing portfolio
- Expanding origination into new markets and sectors
- Delivering market-leading credit performance
The team works closely with numerous areas across MetLife Investment Management, including Corporate Private Placements, Portfolio Management, Insurance Asset Management, Client Portfolio Management, Derivatives, Credit Research, Legal, Operations, and Compliance.

Requirements
- Relevant experienced gained within a similar sector/role within Accountancy/Banking/Rating Agency
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Excel; exposure to financial modelling
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Interest in infrastructure, project finance, or private credit markets
- Collaborative team player with strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Bloomberg (training can be provided)
- Understanding of project finance principles (desirable but not required)
