Job description
- Provide first and second-line technical support to users via phone, email, and in person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Manage and prioritise support tickets using the helpdesk system (Manage Engine)
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Administer user accounts (Active Directory / Microsoft 365) including permissions and group policies
- Support and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications
- Assist with network infrastructure support (switches, routers, Wi-Fi)
- Support backup systems and basic server administration tasks
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset registers
- Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and rollouts
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection policies
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years' experience in an IT support environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server 2022 and Microsoft 365
- Awareness of Citrix and virtualisation
- Experience with Active Directory and user account management
- Understanding of basic networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience supporting printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices
- Experience with backup solutions and endpoint security tools (desirable)
- Experience with Intune
