Job description
We are currently looking for a Project Manager (IT) to strengthen our Cronos Europa team and contribute to large-scale IT programmes within the European Institutions. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT projects, from requirements definition to delivery and acceptance, ensuring compliance with institutional standards related to quality, cost, timelines, and governance. You will operate in an international and multicultural environment, interacting with multiple stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams., * Manage the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs within agreed constraints of cost, timelines, scope, and quality.
- Define project strategies, tasks, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Ensure successful project delivery according to agreed terms of reference.
- Prepare and maintain project plans and quality plans.
- Monitor project performance, costs, risks, and issues, taking corrective actions where deviations occur.
- Manage change control procedures, including revisions to project plans agreed with sponsors.
Technical Leadership
- Provide strong leadership to project teams, ensuring motivation, engagement, and continuous skills development.
- Guide teams in charge of project activities and review delivered outputs.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Support decision-making by providing accurate, structured, and timely information to stakeholders.
Development & Delivery
- Oversee the execution of project activities and ensure deliverables meet functional and quality expectations.
- Ensure delivered systems are implemented and accepted according to defined criteria.
- Coordinate testing, validation, and acceptance phases where applicable.
- Ensure continuous alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Coordination
- Coordinate internal teams, external providers, and institutional stakeholders.
- Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings.
- Facilitate communication across multidisciplinary and multilingual environments.
- Act as a key interface between business, technical teams, and governance bodies.

- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Bachelor degree or equivalent

Knowledge of project management standards and methodologies (Project scheduling, strategic planning, financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking)

Good knowledge of Agile methodology, Scrum management, Lean agile
