Solution Architect

We are looking for a mid-level Azure Cloud / Solution Architect to act as a bridge between Information Systems (IS), Data, and Infrastructure teams.

The mission focuses on designing and aligning cloud and hybrid architectures that support business needs, security requirements, and operational scalability.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, architecture, and business, ensuring that solutions are both technically sound and strategically aligned., * Design and define high-level cloud & hybrid architectures on Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS)

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable and secure solutions
• Act as a bridge between IS, Data, and Infrastructure teams to ensure alignment
• Develop architecture documentation, blueprints, and reference models
• Define and enforce standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
• Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and performance requirements
• Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps architecture strategies
• Support decision-making on technology selection and system integration
• Collaborate with stakeholders and guide implementation teams

• High-level architecture designs and solution blueprints

• Reference documentation & architecture guidelines

• Defined standards and governance frameworks

• Alignment of solutions with:

• Business requirements

• Security & compliance standards

• Infrastructure & data strategies

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure:

• IaaS & PaaS services

• Networking & security

• Data services (e.g., storage, databases, analytics)

• CI/CD & DevOps tooling

Solid understanding of:

• Windows environments & networking
• Cloud security & governance
• Hybrid architectures (on-prem + cloud)

Experience

• 2-5 years in a Cloud / Solution Architect or similar role
• Experience designing scalable, secure cloud solutions
• Proven ability to work across multiple teams and domains

Languages

• Mandatory: English + Dutch + French (trilingual), * Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate in a complex, multi-team environment
• Hands-on enough to understand implementation, but focused on architecture & design

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect)
• Experience in enterprise environments
• Exposure to data platforms or integration architectures
