GSOC Intelligence Analyst - EMEA
Job Overview:
As a GSOC Intelligence Analyst, you will play a senior role within the GSOC Intelligence team, leading on proactive intelligence report writing and verbal briefings on security risks in the region that may impact Meta's people, assets and reputation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

First point-of-call for high-stakes briefings to senior Meta stakeholders

Informs Regional Leads of any emerging risks in the EMEA region, relevant to Global Security and Cross-Functional partners

Issues intelligence briefings to key partners in Global Security and Cross-Functional stakeholder meetings

Collates and produces concise, accurate, error-free texts to support individual projects
-
Provides cover for regional leads during travel, holidays and any unplanned absences
-
Provides team-wide performance metrics for Mitie and Meta, on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
-
Ability to cover Mitie vendor tasks such as WP+ management, holiday requests and Toolbox Talks
-
Provides direction and guidance to more junior analysts, and provides thorough, client-ready QCs to peers
-
Assists leads with training, development and coaching, based on corporate intelligence experience
-
Ensure adherence to required outputs, Meta SOPs, drill targets, as well as performing regular SOP reviews
-
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional leads, Program leads and Regional GSOC Management team
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (preferably Political Science, International Relations, International Security or cultural/social/regional studies) OR equivalent verifiable and demonstrable experience.
- Postgraduate study in a related discipline is desirable
- Proficiency in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing).
Equivalent Verifiable and Demonstrable Experience
- High level of confidence with intelligence processes and methodologies, including structured analytic techniques, scenario analysis, tactical and strategic intelligence, and other key intelligence concepts is essential
- Open Source Intelligence and/or research experience is essential
- Work and/or study experience across the region desirable
- Line management experience desirable

Strong analytical skills with fast paced critical-thinking ability

Ability to independently and consistently draft near-perfect security intelligence reports with no to minimal supervision, covering the core requirements of a top-quality intelligence product

Strong understanding of intelligence analysis terminology, and ability to confidently demonstrate such knowledge in front of a senior client audience

Exemplary written and oral communication

Ability to verbally and correctly brief senior security stakeholders at Meta at short notice, on any given topic in EMEA
-
Confidence in dealing directly with senior management
-
Team player with a proactive approach to independent workflows
-
Ability to lead incident and crisis response, including confident and consistent use of travel tracker software, AlertOps, and other internal systems and tools during times of escalations or rapid shifts in business needs

Commercial awareness, for example the ability to negotiate with client, scope out bespoke projects, conduct project management, as well as resource management

Able to receive direct, constructive feedback and respond effectively under time constraints

Excellent interpersonal and soft skills

Time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues

Highly proficient in using IT

Knowledge and experience of working with the intelligence cycle

Language skills highly desirable but not essential

Notably: French, Spanish, German, Russian and Arabic
Requirements
