Job description

Product Manager/Product Owner - £60-£70K + benefits - West Sussex (hybrid 2 days per week) - B2B SaaS An exciting opportunity for a Product Owner/Manager who will be responsible for driving the success of a cloud-based accounting platform. The focus is on ensuring the product delivers real value to users and supports the company's commercial goals. The position will offer a great deal of autonomy and opportunity to shape product strategy, working closely with engineering on solution design, and engaging directly with end users to understand their needs., + Build a scalable product function by defining clear practices for discovery, prioritisation, validation, and governance.

  • Introduce consistent frameworks and templates that improve how product work is defined, communicated, and understood across the organisation.
  • Lead product discovery through deep customer insight, market analysis, and evidence-driven validation of new opportunities.
  • Shape solutions collaboratively with engineering and leadership to ensure they are valuable for users, technically feasible, and commercially sound.
  • Drive effective delivery by defining problems clearly, maintaining a healthy backlog, supporting engineering throughout development, and measuring real-world outcomes.
  • Engage stakeholders and champion the customer by communicating plans clearly, synthesising input across teams, and using data and KPIs to guide continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience - ideally B2B SaaS - software/fintech/accounting/payroll would be advantageous Experience with requirements definition - discovery, user stories, acceptance criteria, and BDD scenarios Comfortable with data - use analytics to inform decisions and measure outcomes Strong communication skills - able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business context to engineers
