Job description

  • Create, modify, and maintain 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks (essential!).
  • Support new product development and manage engineering changes.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and fit for purpose.
  • Provide technical input to meet customer and application requirements.

Quality Engineering (50%)

  • Support and enhance quality processes across manufacturing operations.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
  • Work alongside the Quality team to maintain ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
  • Produce technical reports, documentation, and conduct root-cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Design, or a similar field.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks - your expertise is essential!
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • A genuine interest in both design and quality engineering.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 / ISO14001 is a plus, but don't worry if you're not familiar - training will be provided!
