Network Engineer

We're looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT team, responsible for maintaining and improving a secure, reliable, and high-performing network infrastructure., As a Network Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design, implementation, and support of the organisation's network environment. You'll ensure connectivity across the business is robust, secure, and scalable, supporting both on-premise and cloud-based systems., * Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN)

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
• Configure and manage network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Ensure network security and compliance with best practices
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and projects
• Work closely with internal teams and third-party providers
• Maintain documentation and network diagrams

• Strong experience with networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
• Experience supporting both on-prem and cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Experience with cloud networking (e.g. AWS or Azure)
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
• Experience with SD-WAN or network automation tools
• Exposure to security tools and practices
