Junior C# / .NET Developer (Remote - UK)

This role is well suited to a junior or early-career developer who has commercial or placement experience and is looking to build confidence working on live systems.

You will:

• Work on existing and new features in C# / .NET web applications
• Make small enhancements and bug fixes under guidance
• Learn to write clean, maintainable code following team standards
• Work with SQL databases and Entity Framework
• Help implement front-end changes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Integrate with third-party APIs, including AI-based services
• Collaborate with the team using Teams in a fully remote environment

You will not be expected to design system architecture, manage others, or lead projects.

We are looking for a Junior C# / .NET Developer who is keen to develop their skills, work on real production systems, and learn from more experienced colleagues - including exposure to AI-enabled features and integrations., * Some commercial, placement, or strong personal project experience with C#

• Basic experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core
• Awareness of MVC-style web applications
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Entity Framework
• Front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery a plus)
• Familiarity with Git or source control
• Willingness to learn and take feedback
• Good written and verbal communication skills

AI-Related Exposure (Desirable)

• Interest in AI-enabled functionality
• Curiosity about working with AI or automation APIs

No prior AI experience is required - training and guidance will be provided.

• Exposure to ASP.NET Core
• Awareness of IIS or hosting concepts
• Interest in mobile or modern .NET technologies (e.g. MAUI)
• Interest in AI

Pay: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
