Job description

The Infrastructure Migration Project Manager is responsible for delivering infrastructure-focused projects within a financial services environment. The role involves managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and aligned with business and technical requirements., * Manage infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Ensure delivery aligns with industry standards, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate technical teams to produce clear, practical designs and recovery documentation.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide implementation guidance.
  • Oversee third-party vendors and ensure timely and quality delivery of services.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks/issues, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders., * Successful delivery of infrastructure migration projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Strong stakeholder satisfaction through effective communication and delivery.
  • Proactive risk management and issue resolution.
  • Consistent adherence to governance, compliance, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects within financial services environments.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture and operational processes.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift (mandatory).
  • Excellent project planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience working within large enterprise environments.
  • Exposure to similar banking or regulated industry projects., * Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
