Job description
Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking an IT Delivery Lead - Technology to support the mobilisation of a major contract, ensuring all technology-related workstreams are delivered on time and in full. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and driving the technology programme. The successful candidate will coordinate diverse service areas including CAFM, frontline worker connectivity, workplace experience, infrastructure and end user compute, sustainability, and data and analytics. As a key member of the mobilisation leadership team, you will act as the central hub for progress updates, governance, risks, and dependencies. Your work will bring clarity and cohesion across multiple UK & I SMEs, global technology specialists, and project managers., + Develop a comprehensive programme of delivery for all IT workstreams.
- Establish governance processes aligned with the wider mobilisation team.
- Create communication plans and templates to capture risks, mitigation actions, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provide regular programme updates to IT operational teams and senior stakeholders.
- Track time and costs against planned budgets.
- Offer tactical guidance to resolve emerging challenges and agree pragmatic solutions.
- Coordinate delivery activities across IT SMEs, project managers, and global technology teams.
- Serve as a central point of contact for progress reporting, risks, and dependencies.
Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders in an international environment.
- Strong background in project and programme management within a technology setting.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex projects with interconnected workstreams.
- Experience within the facilities management industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships across all organisational levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Confident presenting to internal and client stakeholders in a client-facing capacity.
