Finance Data Analyst

Reporting into the CFO, the Finance Data Analyst will be delivering accurate financial reporting as well as maintaining the company's operational dashboards & data models. They will take on a number of key duties including:

• Lead on data analytics and BI, developing Power BI dashboards and delivering insights on key operational and financial KPIs.
• Leverage AI and modern data tools to automate reporting and enhance decision-making across the business.
• Ensure data quality and integrity, working closely with data engineering teams.
• Support the month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts, reporting packs and variance analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Combine financial and operational data to drive commercial understanding and business performance.
• Contribute to process improvements, systems optimisation and ad hoc projects.

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar Data Analyst / Finance Analyst position.
• Proficiency with the use of Power BI (report building, data modelling etc.)
• Strong Excel experience.
• Ability to communicate data insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• A genuine interest in accounting and pursuing a relevant qualification (ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience with Xero would be advantageous.

£35,000 to £40,000 plus benefits:
