Job description
Super Micro Computer B.V. is looking for a skilled and motivated (Senior) Test / Test Engineer to strengthen the testing team at our EMEA headquarters in 's-Hertogenbosch. In this role, you are responsible for testing and analyzing PCBA products to ensure they meet Supermicro's quality standards and shipment deadlines. You work closely with engineering and production teams and play an important role in improving test processes and product quality. What are you going to do?
Role will include but is not limited to:
- Performing functional and system testing of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) products.
- Defining, documenting, and maintaining test processes based on product requirements.
- Improving and refining existing test procedures and test methods.
- Managing and maintaining test equipment.
- Debugging failures and providing troubleshooting support.
- Reviewing defects and performing root cause analysis.
- Coaching and guiding junior engineers in data collection and defect analysis.
- Leading ECO (Engineering Change Order) rework activities when required., Supermicro is a global leader in advanced IT solutions, including servers and data storage systems. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a PCBA or motherboard testing environment.
- Strong computer knowledge and technical background.
- Experience with Linux shell scripting and/or JavaScript is required.
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
