Job description
As IT Lead Corporate Technology, you are responsible for a globally distributed engineering organization, with teams located across Netherlands, Poland, India and Romania. With three IT areas and 150+ team members you will be delivering value for ING. You will also be part of the core management team of People & Hubs and report directly to the CIO. The Corporate Technology domain covers technology for: Global HR services across the full employee lifecycle (e.g Workday, Beeline and multiple SaaS solutions) Corporate Communications (e.g ING.com, ING Today and other) Corporate Real Estate & Facility services (CREFS) Other (Corporate Legal) These platforms and services are used globally across ING's international network, supporting tens of thousands of employees. In parallel, you drive simplification, standardisation and modernization of the Corporate Technology landscape, while accelerating digital transformation and data-driven decision making. Role and responsibilities For this role we are looking for the candidate to work while having the following responsibilities: End-to-end accountability for the full Tech function including reliability, cost-effective delivery, service quality, and IT risk in line with internal and external requirements. Develop and execute the Corporate Technology strategy in alignment with ING's Tech strategy Build and maintain strong partnerships with senior stakeholders across HR, COO, Corporate Services, and Corporate Functions, as well as with peers across other Tech domains. Provide leadership in the adoption of ING ways of working, continuously raising engineering, delivery and operational maturity. Actively build and manage relationships with strategic suppliers and vendors in the Corporate Technology ecosystem. Take full responsibility for the engagement, development and performance of ING and external staff, fostering craftsmanship and building a highly skilled, motivated workforce while being cost aware., We hire smart people like you for your potential. Requirements
Master's degree in computer science or comparable work experience. Senior IT leader with 10+ years of experience in IT management roles in complex, global environments. Proven track record in leading large-scale, business-critical platforms, preferably in Corporate, HR, or enterprise domains. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate confidently at executive level. Passion for agile and BizDevOps ways of working, with experience driving transformation at scale. Demonstrated ability to lead geographically distributed, multicultural teams. Proven capability to attract, develop and retain top talent. Strong understanding of how to design, build and operate modern enterprise platforms, with a clear technical vision for the future. Experience with people, workplace or corporate services domains is a strong advantage.
