Sr. Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a high-performing front office technology team, delivering low-latency market connectivity solutions for a global investment bank. You will work on electronic trading systems, building and enhancing connectivity to exchanges, brokers, and liquidity venues., * Develop and enhance low-latency Java applications for market connectivity

• Build and maintain FIX protocol integrations and trading gateways
• Work closely with traders, quants, and front office stakeholders
• Contribute to high-throughput, real-time systems in eTrading environments
• Improve performance, scalability, and resilience of trading platforms
• Participate in full SDLC including design, development, testing, and deployment

• Strong Core Java (multithreading, concurrency, collections, memory management)
• Proven experience in low-latency / high-performance systems
• Hands-on experience with market connectivity / eTrading systems
• Deep knowledge of FIX protocol (4.x/5.x)
• Experience in Rates, FX, or Fixed Income trading environments
• Familiarity with Spring Boot / microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, etc.)

Desirable

• Experience with electronic trading platforms / algo trading systems
• Knowledge of C++ or other low-level languages
• Exposure to cloud (AWS/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines, * 8-12+ years Java experience
• Strong banking / capital markets background
• Previously worked on exchange connectivity / order routing / pricing systems
• Comfortable in front office, fast-paced environments
