SC Cleared Automation Test Engineer - Java, MongoDB, Groovy - £425 - IR35 - Occasional office - Newcastle
RecOps is partnered with a leading digital consultancy to bolster their existing engineering team with a contract Automation Test Engineer with Java experience and ideally with experience on previous government projects.
This role would be £425 per day, inside IR35 & is fully remote with occasional office meetings in Newcastle. You must have active SC clearance to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to utilise a broad range of testing techniques including functional and non-functional, as well as building and maintaining test automation frameworks, automated tests and running some manual tests.
- A sound knowledge of TDD, BDD and Agile principles
- Strong knowledge of Java, Groovy or other programming language to build/maintain test automation frameworks
- Coding skills
- Automated testing experience of API and WebServices
- A good knowledge of MongoDB, Kafka
- A good understanding of HTTP, Rest
