OT Security Automation Engineer

For a client operating in a nuclear and highly regulated industrial environment, we are looking for an OT Security Automation Engineer. Due to increased workload and after first exploring internal options, this role is now opened externally. You will join an environment where automation, cybersecurity, and AI intersect within OT systems. This is a strongly hands-on role, combining technical and operational responsibilities, including working in the field and within nuclear zones. ️ Day-to-Day Responsibilities (D2D)

• Writing and maintaining procedures and documentation
• Performing tests within OT and automation environments
• Supporting and assisting colleagues on OT security topics
• Being actively present in the field (including nuclear zones)
• Contributing to security, compliance, and regulatory activities

Master's level thinking Experience in OT / ICS and automation Strong general networking knowledge within OT environments Knowledge of ISO/IEC 62443, NIST, and CyFun Broad affinity with cybersecurity, automation, and AI Fluent in Dutch and English Willing to work 5 days per week onsite Nice to have: Experience in pharmaceutical or chemical environments Experience in larger organizations (not only SME environments) Experience in regulated or critical infrastructure environments What makes this role unique?
