Job description

As Director Group IT, you are responsible for managing the IT infrastructure across the group. You plan and coordinate IT projects and oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT environment. You act as the central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders and ensure an efficient, secure, and future-oriented IT organization. Responsibilities You combine a strategic role with hands-on operational involvement: Leading and coaching the IT team Managing and coordinating IT projects Optimizing processes, setting priorities, and defining deadlines Managing the IT budget, licenses, and contracts Standardizing systems and processes across different sites Consulting with management and executive leadership Maintaining relationships with external IT partners Monitoring and reporting on project progress Taking responsibility for IT infrastructure and cybersecurity Supporting the international IT environment Contributing to infrastructure projects Managing backups and monitoring systems Automating and improving processes Providing support for complex IT issues Documenting and following up on new developments Profile

Requirements

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science or Electronics-ICT Experience: At least 3 years in a similar role, or At least 10 years of experience within IT Technical knowledge: Networks, security, endpoints, MS Office, OT Languages: Dutch and English (required), French is a plus Knowledge of regulations: GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001 Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, well-organized and detail-oriented, decisive, cost-conscious, with a coaching and motivating leadership style A challenging role with a high level of responsibility Collaboration with a professional and supportive team You will mainly work from our sites in Roeselare and Evergem and are willing to visit our international locations a few times per year
