Job description
- Serve as a technical thought leader and execution driver for AI-powered capabilities across SAP CX, operating as a senior individual contributor with influence across multiple teams.
- Lead and drive cross-portfolio AI initiatives, delivering agentic and generative AI use cases embedded across CX domains (Sales, Service, Commerce, Marketing, Consumer Products).
- Coordinate, guide, and unblock distributed engineering teams, balancing strong alignment with local autonomy.
- Translate SAP-wide AI strategy (e.g., SAP Business AI, Joule, agentic platforms) into scalable, production-ready CX solutions.
- Partner closely with AI Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering leaders to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Mentor and elevate engineering talent across CX through hands-on coaching, best practices, and technical leadership.
- Contribute to internal innovation initiatives, including code camps, engineering excellence programs, and tooling improvements.

Requirements
- Deep understanding of how CX capabilities interconnect, designing AI solutions that scale across multiple products and workflows.
- Influence-Based Leadership
- Ability to lead complex, cross-team initiatives through credibility, clarity, and trust-without formal authority., * Strong AI & Software Engineering Foundation.
- Hands-on experience designing and building backend systems and AI-enabled applications with production-grade reliability.
- Generative & Agentic AI Expertise.
- Practical experience with LLM-based architectures, including RAG, orchestration frameworks, and agent workflows applied to enterprise use cases.
- Cross-Team Technical Leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to guide architectural decisions, navigate trade-offs, and influence multiple teams and stakeholders.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering GenAI / LLM-based solutions into production environments
- Proven track record of leading cross-team technical initiatives at scale
Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience building enterprise-grade software and AI systems
