Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Engineers to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our customer's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network security protocols, technologies, and best practices, along with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions. What You Will Focus on

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of network security solutions to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyber threats.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential weaknesses in the network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems, and other security platforms to enhance network security posture
• Analyse network traffic for suspicious, and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security policies, standards, and procedures are followed throughout the organization.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies to proactively address potential risks.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and resolution of security incidents.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network security.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of third-party security solutions and vendors.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network security engineering, with a proven record of progressively responsible roles.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge of network security protocols, encryption algorithms, and authentication mechanisms.
• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto).
• Proficiency in intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and packet analysis for identifying and mitigating security incidents.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and experience securing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST) and their impact on network security practices.
