Senior Network Security Engineer

As a Senior Network & Security Engineer you be an integral member of the professional services and project engineering team. The role will entail end-to-end responsibilities including presales, delivery and providing ongoing support as a trusted advisor to the company's clients ensuring the solutions and services provided are at an optimal level., * Work alongside the Presales and Architecture teams, assisting with end-to-end delivery on enterprise network, connectivity, wireless and smart building projects.

• Work on tenders and RFP responses.
• Attend customer meetings, interact with stakeholders and commercial decision makers, as well as presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Design and implement services for customer projects.
• Provide ongoing technical support to a 3rd line level.
• Provide exceptional customer services.
• Contribute to knowledge centre and keep documentation up to date.
• Be willing to work in a vendor agnostic environment and stay up to date with the latest technologies.

• Strong experience in enterprise grade network and security solutions particularly across either Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies.
• Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrate background and understanding in NAC, routing, switching and security.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN.
• Strong security skill and awareness of principles - IAM, Zero Trust & SASE.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

·Additional vendor experience for example Meraki, HPE, Juniper or Ruckus etc.

·Scripting nice to have but not essential - Python, Ansible and IaC.

·Cloud networking and platforms.

Additional Requirements:

·Willing to travel to customer sites across the UK - mainly London and the South East of England.

·A valid UK driving license. Some of the customer sites are hard to get to via public transport and driving is the only option.

Salary: Up to £90,000 depending on level of experience, plus bonus and good benefits package.
