Job description
Web developer with front-end developer skills across various CMS systems, We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to join the team based at our offices in Elmswell, Suffolk. The successful candidate will be working closely within the existing IT department and marketing and design teams.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is creative and dynamic, with an artistic flair that can create, maintain and update multiple websites.
You will be joining a development team of 5 developers who cover all aspects of our bespoke software packages.
Role is based in Elmswell Suffolk, some remote days may be possible after qualifying period.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Building, designing and updating company websites
- Building, designing and distributing company eNews/eFlyers/electronic communications
- Maintenance of online databases
- Company Search Engine Optimisation campaigns and reports
- Liaising with the design department regarding website requirements
- Working alongside marketing and editorial teams to execute company strategy
Requirements
- HTML

- JavaScript
- Strong proficiency with the Linux command line interface and shell scripting
- PHP
- Responsive web design - use of CSS Media Queries for a mobile friendly website.
- Social Media
- eNews creation
- SEO and Google analytics
- Have experience of managing and configuring web servers:
- GitLab
- Docker images and containerization
- Argo CD
- Helm
Extra knowledge - if possible
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Orchestration, automation and monitoring of the production environment cluster management
