Senior IT Security Consultant

Our security consulting approach focuses on ensuring the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of data and systems. As a Senior IT Security Consultant (m/f/d), you will take a leading role in the development and implementation of comprehensive security strategies and solutions for our clients. You will work on a holistic security approach to help our clients optimally protect their digital environments against cyber threats.

• Strategic Consulting: Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies for complex IT infrastructures
• Leadership: Lead and mentor junior consultants and team members
• Project Management: Take on project responsibility and ensure timely delivery of high-quality security solutions
• Stakeholder Management: Closely interact with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss and implement security requirements and solutions
• Embedded Security: Enhance the resilience of digital environments against cyber threats
• Prevention: Identify vulnerabilities and actively implement preventive measures
• Implementation: Develop and implement advanced security solutions to optimize operations
• Design: Design access rights and identity management (Identity & Access Management)
• IoT Security: Focus on risk and compliance and ensure IoT security
• Cloud Security: Advise on cloud security and cloud computing infrastructure
• Platform Security: Ensure the security of system-centric platforms (SAP, CI/CD, Kafka)
• Application Security: Ensure application security during development and operational phases
• Ransomware Readiness: Participate in ransomware readiness assessments
• DevSecOps: Integrate DevSecOps practices and incorporate security aspects
• Security-in-Depth: Develop and implement security-in-depth strategies
• Training and Documentation: Participate in IT security training and contribute to process documentation
• Compliance: Provide comprehensive insights into various compliance frameworks, data protection, and privacy (IT & compliance audits)

• Several years of relevant professional experience in the broad field of IT and/or cyber security
• Strong curiosity and motivation to quickly learn new areas and continuously follow current developments in IT security
• Successfully completed studies in an IT-related field, e.g., Computer Science
• Expertise in authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and single sign-on
• Experience with concepts of identity lifecycle management, identity provisioning, and identity attestation
• Willingness to tackle new challenges in areas such as DevSecOps, Application Security Testing, Identity & Access Management, and Risk & Compliance
• Knowledge in the area of cloud security services, particularly related to identity and access management, platform protection, data, and application security, and the management of security operations
• Interest in the topic of ransomware and the development of readiness assessments
• Customer orientation and enjoyment of project work in a (inter)national environment
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
