Job description

System Engineer with strong experience in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix). Skilled in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, automation (PowerShell/Bash), and security frameworks. Ensures system reliability, resolves complex incidents, and promotes best practices, documentation, and team growth., * Act as a hands-on technical authority, ensuring the company's infrastructure remains robust, secure, and future-ready

  • Serve as the technical owner of core infrastructure components, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability across corporate and retail environments
  • Enforce security baselines, apply system hardening, and embed cybersecurity best practices into daily operations
  • Manage lifecycle activities (upgrades, patches, replacements), monitor system health, and proactively prevent incidents
  • Provide 3rd-level support, lead root cause analyses, and implement long-term corrective actions
  • Eliminate repetitive tasks through scripting and automation, continuously improving infrastructure efficiency and resilience

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux environments
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune (Jamf is a plus)
  • Expertise in virtualisation technologies: VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix
  • Experience with monitoring tools, backup & recovery solutions, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS)
  • Experience in automation using PowerShell (preferred), Bash, or equivalent scripting languages
  • Strong focus on security, system hardening, and risk assessment as part of daily engineering practices
  • Ability to mentor less-experienced engineers and help raise the overall technical bar
  • Strong commitment to documentation, standards, and operational excellence
  • Hands-on mindset with a strong ability to operate systems and resolve complex infrastructure issues end-to-end
  • Fluency in French and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in English (B2+), * Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively diagnose complex incidents
