Tasks

• Support departments in assessing and managing information security risks.
• Coordinate vulnerability and supplier management for security improvements.
• Advise on information security and assist with audits and reporting., We are looking to further expand and strengthen our team with two new colleagues. You will work actively with the departments on the further development of their information security and help strengthen their cyber resilience - ideally immediately or by arrangement. The Security Directorate employs around 5,000 staff. The Security Directorate includes the Zurich Cantonal Police, the Road Traffic Office, the Migration Office, the Office for Military and Civil Protection, the Cantonal Social Office, and the Sports Office. The coordination of cross-departmental information security activities is attached to the General Secretariat of the Security Directorate. We shape the further development of information security and provide various services to our departments.

Your tasks

• You support our departments on site in assessing and managing information security risks, implementing their protective measures, especially creating protection requirement analyses, ISDS concepts, and data protection impact assessments related to specialist applications.
• You support improvement and further development projects of information security in the departments, coordinate vulnerability and supplier management, and contribute to the further development and implementation of a cross-departmental information security management system (ISMS). You also accompany internal and external audits.
• You advise our departments on information security issues and further support them with information and awareness measures as well as reporting., A versatile, responsible, and important role in the age of cybercrime.
• Work in a small team as well as collaboration with various specialists across departmental and directorate boundaries.

Interested?

• Higher education in business informatics or related field required.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST Cyber Security Framework.
• Experience in project and process management in larger organizations., Higher education (FH/University) in business informatics or comparable education as well as several years of experience as a specialist in the field of information and data security.

• Sound knowledge of current standards (especially ISO 27001 or NIST Cyber Security Framework) as well as experience in introducing risk and security frameworks.
• Several years of experience in project and process management, preferably in a larger company or public administration.
