Job description

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Support Technician (m/f/d) in Frankfurt am Main for an international, long-term IT service project.

You will be responsible for providing on-site technical user support and ensuring smooth IT operations through a professional walk-in center as well as traditional on-site support.

Tasks

  • Management of the walk-in center (drop-off/pick-up kiosk) and provision of on-site support services
  • First- and second-level support for users regarding Windows Client, MS Office, and standard software
  • Remote support for users and technicians
  • Endpoint and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Staging and image loading, as well as managed deployments
  • Conference room and meeting room support (audio/video equipment, connections, etc.)
  • Asset clearing and documentation in the asset management system
  • Coordination of hardware repairs with external service providers
  • Warehousing & logistics for shipping and remote locations

Requirements

  • Experience as an on-site technician or in hardware and software support
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting Windows client environments (on-premises)
  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure topics (e.g., networks, cabling, patching)
  • Strong service orientation, ability to work in a team, and a proactive approach
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills (C1); German skills are a plus
  • Willingness to work shifts and be on call
  • Valid work permit/visa for Germany
  • ITIL certification is a plus
