Job description
The Revenue Systems Manager is a high-impact individual contributor responsible for the architectural integrity, scalability, and strategic evolution of Salesforce and the broader GTM tech stack.
While hands-on, this role moves beyond day-to-day administration to lead the technical design and governance of systems that power the entire revenue engine. You will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical excellence, ensuring that our systems are not just functional today, but built to scale for the future. You will operate with high autonomy, providing technical mentorship to the wider team and serving as a key partner to the Head of Revenue Systems.
What You'll Do
System Architecture & GTM Strategy
- Contribute to the technical design and roadmap for Salesforce and integrated GTM tools (e.g., Outreach, Gong, Clari, or LeanData).
- Architect complex, scalable automations and data models that support sophisticated GTM motions (e.g., PLG, Enterprise, and Channel sales).
- Proactively identify and remediate technical debt to ensure high system performance and maintainability.
Advanced Build & Release Governance
- Own the DevOps lifecycle, including sandbox management, CI/CD processes, and sophisticated QA/UAT frameworks.
- Lead the implementation of high-complexity projects, such as RCA deployments, multi-currency transitions, or billing integrations.
- Establish and enforce documentation standards and system governance policies across the revenue organization.
Strategic Support & Operational Excellence
- Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex technical issues involving integrations, Apex/Flow conflicts, or data discrepancies.
- Define KPIs for system health and user adoption, using data to drive continuous improvement of the tech stack.
- Partner with Security and Legal to ensure GDPR/SOC2 compliance and robust data permissioning.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Consult with Sales, Marketing, and CS leadership to translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices in declarative development and systems thinking.
- Lead vendor evaluations and renewals, ensuring the tech stack remains lean and high-ROI.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: 6+ years in Salesforce/Revenue Systems, specifically within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Expert Technical Depth: Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (certified Admin/App Builder/Platform Dev I preferred) with a deep understanding of Flow, complex sharing models, and the "Order of Execution."
- Architectural Mindset: Experience designing systems that integrate via APIs, middleware or native connectors.
- Strategic Autonomy: A track record of taking a vague business problem and turning it into a fully deployed technical solution with minimal oversight.
- Communication: The ability to explain "why" a certain technical path is necessary to non-technical stakeholders.
